COSTUME DESIGN FOR KING LEAR

The costume design for this piece explores the archetypes of gender and the different layers of femininity through metaphoric and poetic costumes. The juxtaposition of different fabric weights, and the use of accents of bold red in a predominately-muted palette, invites us to a visual experience of delicacy and transgression.
